Premier Sports Leagues offers an after-school program to help students better learn the rules and game play tactics of emerging, lesser known global multi sports, such as the sport of FLOORBALL.

AFTER SCHOOL/ LUNCH SPORTS PROGRAM

This program typically follows the School Workshop (in class demonstration), but can be purchased by the school at any time. Each week consists one hour of mini games (mixing teams up each week and running a round robin tournament of 4-5 minute games and finals near the end).
 
The initial one hour program requires a 20 minute introduction (history, rules and drills) so the groundwork is properly in place for the students to learn & properly play the sports in the following 40 minutes.

NOTE: We would recommend ordering more than just the initial hour (introduction) program to allow the students more opportunities to better learn and play our sports
The equipment is provided by Premier Sports Leagues.

GOALS:

• introduce the students & school staff to new sports (such as floorball) and engage the students in a series of mini games each week, either with set teams or alternating players each week on different teams
• help students to gradually learn to play these sports by increasing the application of the rules of play as the weeks proceed
• help students discover their desire to play these new sports beyond this program and connect them to community leagues
• work with school staff to plan future multi sports events (in school competitions and/or inter school tournaments)
• help the school purchase a specialized equipment and incorporate these sports in their curriculum
