Sportlogiq and CRJHL Announce League Wide Agreement
Sportlogiq, a global leader in AI-powered hockey analytics, is pleased to announce that the Capital Regional Junior Hockey League (CRJHL) will be using Sportlogiq’s iCE Elite platform across all 7 teams beginning in the 2025–26 season.
Through this league-wide adoption, every CRJHL team will now have access to Sportlogiq’s industry-leading video based analytics and tools — including over 500 metrics used at the NHL level, such as expected goals (xG), controlled zone entries and exits, shot location breakdowns, and more.
“Sportlogiq is proud to extend our advanced analytics to the CRJHL,” said Mitchell Wasserman, CEO of Sportlogiq. “More and more leagues are turning to Sportlogiq as the trusted source for advanced analytics. By continuing to deliver our data and insights to the junior level, we’re helping reshape how the game is played and coached, giving teams the tools to develop talent, optimize performance, and make data-driven decisions previously only available to professional teams.”
Sportlogiq’s iCE Elite platform provides teams with comprehensive video breakdown tools, customizable reports, and over 500 performance metrics — all designed to help coaches, players, and hockey ops staff make smarter, faster decisions.
“The CRJHL is excited to add Sportlogiq as our league analytics and stats provider.” Said Chris Poponick, President of the CRJHL. “By adding this tool to our league members offering to players and coaches it shows our leagues continued drive to help both players and coaches improve their games and move on to the next level in hockey if desired.
It allows teams to provide cutting edge feedback to the players and allows players to assess their games and compile highlight reels in helping them move up to Jr A, WHL or college or university hockey.
As a league, this resource will ensure that the stats that are collected are accurate and may help monitor disciplinary situations if necessary.
This helps put the CRJHL as one of the go to Jr. B leagues in Western Canada.”
With the adoption of Sportlogiq iCE Elite, the CRJHL joins a growing number of organizations committed to bringing professional-grade technology to all levels of the game.
