The North Winnipeg Satelites announce the establishment of a "Best Teammate Award" in honor of Cliff "Moses" Malzensky, long-time team supporter, GM and owner. It will be presented to a Satelites player annually, chosen by the coaches and players of the team.
Cliff's passing is a huge loss to our team, our league and hockey in Manitoba. https://www.winnipegfreepress.
The Satelites will hold a moment of silence in Mosey’s honor at the first home game on Nov. 7. The team can’t play in the Billy Mosienko arena until then because of ice issues. We would love to invite you to join us for the game! Let's pack the Billy Barn!
We will take donations at the game, as well as by e-transfer. The email address for e-transfers is winnipegsatelitesjrb@gmail.com – please make a note that it’s for the Cliff Malzensky award.
We are determined to make 2023-24 a successful year in his honor. #2024ForMosey
