“I thought I played pretty well. It was good just getting out there, actually being in the game,” Adelaide development player Caelan Rea’s thoughts on playing his AIHL game weekend.

19-year-old Daniel Koudelka on his defensive role during high pressure moments of the game: “Today was definitely a more defensive game than yesterday was. I think we did a much better job at limiting their odd-man opportunities and breakaways.”

“I wanted to bring energy into the team on Sunday for a more offensive play with better defense,” Romans Nekludovs’ mindset coming back to the game after facing a one-game suspension in which he served in Game 1 against the Brisbane Lightning.

“We came out Sunday with a better effort… We secured things defensively at the Sunday game, limited them and their scoring chances. We played with a lead most of the game. It was just a matter of management and keeping the energy levels,” Coy Prevost discusses the difference in how the team played in Game 2 in comparison to Game 1.
