Ones to Watch VS Perth Thunder

Ones to Watch VS Perth Thunder

Amanda Marasigan

Adelaide Adrenaline: Zach Boyle
Zach Boyle makes an impact on the blue line and on the team’s offensive attack despite being a defenseman. He uses his speedy skating to grab the puck, zooming across the ice
as he chases down the other team’s players. He steps up and makes plays to help Adelaide’s goal scoring opportunities recording two assists across eight games. He’s represented Australia in national competition with his experience noticeable every time he steps into a shift.

Perth Thunder: Jamie Woodman
Arguably Australia’s strongest defenseman, Jamie Woodman has a dominant presence on the ice with his relentless pursuit of the puck. His smooth puck handling and active playstyle capture people’s attention making him a standout player. He is no stranger to Adelaide, having played at the National Hockey Super League in 2022 under the Adelaide Xtreme. He has represented Australia as well and been a long-time captain of the Perth Thunder being with the team for nine years, playing a total of 210 AIHL
games.
