The Adelaide Adrenaline Take On the Canberra Brave at the New AIS Arena

The Adelaide Adrenaline Take On the Canberra Brave at the New AIS Arena

Amanda Marasigan

Adelaide will be back on the road this weekend, heading to Canberra for a double-header against the Brave. The two teams met five weeks ago at the IceArena for Adelaide’s home opening weekend which saw a tight match-up across the two games.

Game 1 headed to Overtime, showing the intensity on the ice and Game 2 saw Canberra come out on top once again, with a third period flurry widening the gap in scoring. Adelaide seemed to struggle in the latter stages of the game on both nights. but the return of Daniel Chen and Zach Boyle - alongside the addition of Cale Dolan to the roster, may swing the pendulum in favour of the Adrenaline this weekend.

Adelaide and Canberra’s Shots on Goal were close in numbers, which reflected in the tight scoring affairs of both nights, at least for the majority of the weekend.

The Adrenaline will need to maintain the pace especially during the final 20 minutes to keep the pressure going and avoid letting Canberra slip away in the late game, with the visiting team on the hunt for their first win of the season, hungry for points despite the turbulent start to the 2025 season.
