Well the first game did not disappoint the crowd at Spring Garden park as the Hooters came to play some defense in this one against their long time rivals Big Red. In the first inning Jer"Cat in the Hat"Shapiro hit a loopy double down the left field line to score 2 and take the early lead. In the bottom of the inning the Hooters cut the lead in half with Brent"I'm coming home"Devenne hitting a single, stealing second and coming home on a double off the bat of JR. Paul"couldn't CTFB"Hewer on this day but managed to bear down and shut Big Red down only giving up single runs in the 6th and 7th innings. The Hooters put runs on the board in the middle innings to secure the victory. The key hit came off the bat of Dan"Two Way"Paradis with a two out double to cash in a pair. Not only did Dan do it with the bat, he also made a spectacular catch robbing a sure double from Carl.

The night cap had a double header with the Brewzers taking advantage of a shorthanded Padres which not much went right for them on this day. For the Brewzers, you can see the write up from Mark.
