The Cochrane Generals staged a comeback win in an overtime thriller against the High River Flyers in a rare Thursday night road game.

Caden Stephenson tied it up 2-2 midway through the second and after a scoreless third period, Gens captain James Quaife scored the winner with 54 seconds remaining in overtime.

The win lifts the Gens to lone possession of fourth place in the HJHL's south division.

The Gens are back in action tonight at High River's Bob Snodgrass Arena at 8 p.m.

Saturday, the Rocky Rams are in town for their lone regular season appearance. Game time is 8:15 p.m. in Totem One.
