Compete Hockey, was founded in 2004 by ex NHL player and professional skills coach Cam Severson to give Pacific Northwest area a premier hockey development program.

Over the years Compete Hockey has developed numerous players that have moved on to play junior hockey in the Western Hockey League, United States Hockey League, British Columbia Hockey League, and North American Hockey League.

Compete Hockey Schools now sees over 700 participants in their off season development camps and looks to expand their program into other areas within the US, Canada and Europe.

 Currently Compete Hockey runs their summer development programs in Coeur d' Alene Idaho, Spokane Washington, Wasilla Alaska and Bremerton WA.

Compete Hockey focuses on all aspects of hockey. The coaching staff has developed a strong foundation for improving players' overall hockey ability in all aspects of individual skill development and game and team hockey concepts .
