Welcome to the West Island Softball Association web site. Our league has been around since 1983 and just celebrated our 40th season. Our games are played at Valois Park mostly on Saturday mornings with a few Friday night games here and there. Our league has gone to using wooden bats for the past five years. We have regular season champs as well as playoff champs. Of course there is a year-end banquet with trophy presentations, door prizes, great food, music and fun for all. Just to let you know we are not a slow-pitch / lob ball league. Some of our pitchers can really throw heat!
