The Adelaide Adrenaline are ready to set sail on the 2019 season. The coaches are set, and player meetings have begun. The team is set to start training as a group in February 2019. Under coach Jim Fuyarchuck, we are confident we will see dramatic improvements on the ice.

The Adrenaline are putting out the call for nominees to fill three vacant committee positions. 

We are seeking nominations from people who can commit to spending considerable time and energy on the significant workload involved in coordinating the Club's activities, including overseeing the Club's finances, making decisions about matters of governance and policy, helping to form essential business relationships and coordinate the Club's volunteers. Please note that committee members will be expected to work across all aspects of the Club's activities and governance, not only a specific portfolio.

That said, the Club welcomes nominees who bring expertise in relevant fields such as marketing, media, sponsorship and business development, and volunteer coordination. Experience in a board or committee role preferred; experience in sporting club management is desirable. 

Successful candidates will commence work immediately, and will be elected for a two year term.

1) Be a member of the club

2) Send your nomination to secretary@adelaideadrenaline.com by 16 November 2018, including the following information:

• Your name and preferred phone number and email address
• Details of relevant experience, and what you can bring to the Adrenaline through a role on the committee
• Your favourite thing about community sporting clubs

Please note that your contact details will be kept confidential but the rest of the information provided as part of your nomination will be shared with Club members ahead of the AGM on 11 December 2018.

If the number of nominations exceeds the number of available positions, a vote will be conducted as part of the AGM. If the number of nominations does not exceed the number of available positions, the nominees' eligibility will be considered and all eligible nominees appointed at the AGM.

ABOUT THE OUTGOING MEMBERS
We would like to thank outgoing members Bec Seabrooke, Monique Kleine and Andy Goulding for their time and service on the Adrenaline Committee.

Bec served as game day coordinator and volunteer manager for nearly three seasons. She only discovered hockey in Adelaide in 2016 but quickly fell in love with the game. Bec's passion for the club is practically unmatched and she led a dedicated group of volunteers, working hard to ensure all elements of Game Days were organised, including coordination of ticket sales and group bookings.

Monique served as a media manager for just over a season and brought professional experience to the team. Under her watch, the graphics, look and feel of the club dramatically improved. Full of ideas and enthusiasm for the club, Monique was never shy to put up her hand and step out of her comfort zone to do what needed to be done.

Andy served one year as the merchandise manager and helped move the location of the merch to a better spot in the rink, and to improve the quality, systems and number of items available. His quirky ideas were a hit with the fans.
