After a successful weekend, The Sydney Ice Dogs have another busy one ahead of them. The team will face the Bears on Friday then by the Adrenaline the following night. The Ice Dogs are looking to keep on top of the standings and take home all six points on offer.

ICE DOGS VS. BEARS

The Ice Dogs return to action at Macquarie Ice Rink facing their hometown rivals, the Sydney Bears, this Friday. This marks the third of four times they will face the team this season. The last time the two teams met, the Ice Dogs took down the Bears with an impressive 3-2 shootout win. The Bears currently fifth in last on the ladder with 23 points.

ICE DOGS VS. ADRENALINE

All time: 21-27-1-5 (At home: 12-8-1-3 on the road: 9-19-0-2)

This Saturday will be the final meeting between the teams in the regular season. The Ice Dogs and Adrenaline last faced off on Sunday night when the Dogs took a 4-0 shutout win. 

The Adrenaline sit in last place on the leaderboard with 11 points in 16 games. 

WHO’S HOT

• Defenseman Bryan Kolodziejczyk has registered 15 points (4G, 11A) in the seven games he has played in the AIHL including two assists last Sunday.
• Geordie Wudrick has 36 points over 16 games including 13 goals, two of which came last weekend against the Adrenaline. He heads the Ice Dogs in goals and points registered this season.
• Just last Sunday Curtis Skip recorded his first shutout in the AIHL since joining in April. Skip made 22 saves in the win and has a GAA of 2.28 while leading the league with a SV% of 0.928.
• Cameron Todd registered 3 points on Sunday as he comes up to his 100th AIHL game

STATUS REPORT

• Nathan Chiarlitti played his final game in the AIHL on the 10th of June as he moves back to Canada to continue his studies.
• Defenseman Bryan Kolodziejczyk has joined the Ice Dogs after recovering from an upper body injury.
