After falling to the Northstars, first in a shootout on Friday night then again on Sunday night, the Sydney Ice Dogs are looking to move back up on top of the standings and take all three points on offer against the Adelaide Adrenaline this Sunday. Puck drop at 5pm at Macquarie Ice Rink. 

ICE DOGS VS. ADRENALINE

All time: 20-27-1-5 (At home: 11-8-1-3 on the road: 9-19-0-2)

This weekend will be the third meetings between the teams in the regular season. The Ice Dogs and Adrenaline first met this season at Adelaide Ice Arena on the 28th of April, with Sydney falling in their first loss of the season by a score of 2-4. 

The Adrenaline most recently lost 6-2 to the CBR Brave and sit in last place on the leaderboard with 11 points in 14 games. 

WHO’S HOT

• Defenseman Bryan Kolodziejczyk has registered 13 points (4G, 9A) in the six games he has played in the AIHL including a goal against the Perth Thunder on Sunday.
  
   
• Geordie Wudrick has 34 points over 15 games including 11 goals, two of which came last weekend against the Northstars. He heads the Ice Dogs in goals (11) and points registered this season.
  
   
• Grant Toulmin has registered 32 points over 13 games including 13 goals and a hat trick against the Melbourne Mustangs on the 10th of June.

• Dave Dunwoodie scored a goal and registered an assist against the Northstars on Friday night as he continues his strong play.

STATUS REPORT

• Nathan Chiarlitti played his final game in the AIHL on the 10th of June as he moves back to Canada to continue his studies.
• Defenseman Bryan Kolodziejczyk has joined the Ice Dogs after recovering from an upper body injury.
