The Port Moody Panthers announced today the signing of forward Stephen Chen for the 2020-21 Pacific Junior Hockey League season.
Chen, who is from Richmond, joins the Panthers after playing with the Delta Ice Hawks in 2019-20. With Delta, he finished the season with five goals and two assists in 29 games.
The 19-year-old spent the 2018-19 season with the U18 Richmond Jets and was also an affiliate player for the Ice Hawks and then the Richmond Sockeyes.
He made his junior hockey debut with the Sockeyes in a game against Mission on Dec. 13, 2018, but didn't register any points.
