Angus Redmond signs a deal with Kansas City of the ECHL

Panthers alumni Angus Redmond (2012-13) signed a professional contract with the Kansas City Mavericks of the ECHL on Wednesday.

The 25-year-old spent the past four seasons playing in the ECHL and American Hockey League. Over that time, the Langley, BC product has appeared in five career AHL games and 67 career ECHL games.

During his tenure in Port Moody in the 2012-13 season, Redmond had a 4-12-0 record with a 4.20 goals-against-average and a .907 save percentage in 19 games. 

Redmond, whose nickname is "Beef", signed with Salmon Arm of the BC Hockey League midway through that season and played 132 career games for the Silverbacks before heading to Michigan Tech University in 2016.
