The Port Moody Panthers announced today the signing of forward and Saskatoon Blades prospect Sammy May for the 2020-21 PJHL season.
May, who's from Richmond, BC, joins the Panthers after playing 31 games with the U18 AAA Greater Vancouver Canadians in 2019-20. With the Canadians of the BC U18 AAA League, he recorded seven goals and 15 assists.
The 17-year-old had 10 goals and 15 assists in 40 games with the Canadians as a rookie in 2018-19.
May has played six pre-season games with the Blades over the last two seasons and posted one assist along with two shots on goal.
He was selected by Saskatoon in the 11th round, 228th overall in the 2018 WHL Bantam Draft.
