The Port Moody Panthers announced today that the club has acquired 2003-born defenseman Terence Learmouth from the White Rock Whalers in exchange for 2001-born defenseman Nicholas Dittrich.

Learmouth posted one assist in 29 games as a rookie with the Whalers during the 2019-20 season. The Burnaby resident also played two games during White Rock's first round playoff series against North Van.

He played with the Burnaby Minor Hockey U18 A1 team in 2018-19 that advanced to the 2019 BC Provincial Championship tournament. Learmouth was a teammate of current Panthers Jayson Beauregard, Daniel Dallapace, Gagandeep Manhas and Luka Zilic on the Burnaby team.

Along with forwards Jihwan Kim and Jinhyeon Kim along with goaltender Mac Roman, Learmouth is the fourth new player to join the Panthers for the 2020-21 Pacific Junior Hockey League season, which is slated to start the week of September 29.
