The Port Moody Panthers announced today that the club has acquired forward Ryan Taylor-Kuipers from the Grandview Steelers in exchange for future considerations.
Taylor-Kuipers, 19, recorded 19 points (4-15-19) in 29 games with the Steelers this season. As a freshman in 2018-19, he had 18 points (5-13-18) in 38 games for Grandview and was named Steelers rookie of the year.
The 6'3", 205-pound forward also played six playoff games for the Steelers last year. A native of Burnaby, Taylor-Kuipers had 51 points (22-29-51) in 57 games over two seasons with the Shawnigan Lake School Midget Varsity team before starting his junior hockey career.
Taylor-Kuipers made his Panthers debut in Friday's 3-0 win over Abbotsford.
