Storm hosting playoff games at McArthur Island

KAMLOOPS- The Storm will open the 2019 Kootenay International Junior Hockey League (KIJHL) playoffs for the Teck Cup against the defending league and Cyclone Taylor Cup champs, the Revelstoke Grizzlies.

"To add a twist to our participation in the playoffs, we would also like to announce that we will be playing our home playoff games at the McArthur Island Sports Centre on the NHL ice surface," says Storm GM Matt Kolle in a release. "This move is experimental in nature as we seek to engage the potential North Shore fan base and get an idea of what the potential future back at the Island could look like."
