Remembering Lorraine March

It is with profound sadness that the KIJHL announce the passing of a very special person, Lorraine March.   Lorraine wore many different hats and gave her heart and soul when it came to working for her favourite team the Sicamous Eagles.  It was not only Wayne’s passion, it was also hers.   

Throughout the past 24 years, Lorraine has worked with her husband Wayne, supporting him in any way possible, with the off-ice operations of the Eagles.   For many years, Lorraine was President of the Club and was responsible for so much more, the list is endless.  For over 18 years there were over 100 players billeted in their home and yes, there were as many as 6-7 players staying at there at one time who would refer to her as their “Sicamous Mom”.   

Lorraine has touched so many people’s hearts and is going to be missed by so many, especially those involved with the Sicamous Eagles Hockey Club and throughout her community.
