The Golden Rockets have partnered with the Alberta Junior Hockey League's Calgary Mustangs to host a Spring Combine for players interested in pursuing junior hockey opportunities for the 2018/19 season and beyond.
The combine will be held at Flames Community Arenas from Friday, May 25 to Sunday, May 27. It will be run by Rockets head coach Jeremy Blumes and Mustangs head coach Tyler Drader as well as coaches and scouts from both organizations.
"We are very pleased to be partnering with Coach Drader and the Mustangs to give players a chance to be evaluated by both teams and pursue playing opportunities in the KIJHL and AJHL," says Blumes. "This is a great time for players looking to crack our line-up as we look to improve at all positions."
All players who attend the camp will compete in four games and receive an exit meeting with team coaches. Goaltenders will receive an additional 75-minute evaluation session run by former Carolina Hurricanes goaltending coach David Marcoux.
The cost to attend is $175 for skaters and $200 for goaltenders. Players born from 1998 to 2003 are welcome.
