Revelstoke scored first at 10:14 (Jack McNamara from Mitchell Lavoie and Jordan Rea) and added another at 7:27 (Tommy Bodtker from Matt Cadden and Ryan Bedard). The shot taken from in front of the Posse net sailed up into the top corner of the goal after tapping goalie Danyon Lorencz’s right shoulder on the way by. The period ended with the Grizzlies on top 2-0 after out-shooting the Posse 14-7.
The second period saw Princeton add a goal at 2:04. Chad Kimmie got the marker with help from Dawson Wollf and Thomas Wojak. The most serious of them was a four-minute high-sticking call with the rest of them being 2-minute minors.
Revelstoke continued to control the game adding another goal at 15:24 (Jason Lane from Zane Avery) to make it 3-1 for the Grizzlies. It took close to the entire period before Princeton managed to reply. At 3:38 the Posse narrowed Revelstoke’s lead with a goal scored by Drew Carter. Assists went to Lane French and Thomas Wojak. Then at 2:01 Revelstoke made it a 4-2 game with a short-handed goal by Cody Flann. Tommy Bodtker was given an assist on the play.
