High Performance Development – August 2 to 6, 2021

The High-Performance program is geared towards U15 and U18 who aspire to play elite level U18 / U20 levels. These camps focus on Power Skating, Edge Control, Puck Skills, Shooting and Small Area Games.  The ice sessions feature a balance of both full ice and station drills with a focus on “Game Application”.

Each day will consist of two off ice sessions: one team building activity and one off ice conditioning session.  During the team building activities we will focus on leadership and goal setting activities.  The off ice conditioning sessions are geared towards increasing the players agility, balance, coordination, and speed.  It will ultimately make each player stronger and as a result they will increase their on-ice skills.  This camp will provide lots of opportunity for personal growth on and off the ice. These camps will be lots of fun and are guaranteed to prepare our participants for the 20201-2022 Season.

On Ice Sessions - These camps focus on the fundamentals and will focus primarily on Power Skating, Edge Control, Puck Handling, Stick Handling, Small Area Games and Shooting. The ice sessions will have a balance of both full ice and station-based drills providing a balance that allows for repetition leading to increased skill acquisition.  These sessions are high intensity, and our staff demands complete effort and commitment.

Competitive Games (Each player has 6 games) – Our program is designed to engage players in competitive situations throughout all sessions.  The week will conclude with players participating in competitive games.  Our goal is to conduct a 2 Day 5vs5 full ice tournament.  We are prepared to adjust if Covid restrictions are in place.  Players will compete in “Game Situations”.  These sessions are simply an opportunity to allow “Players to Play”!  This in turn will assist in your fall tryout camp preparation.

Off Ice Training – Our program allows players the opportunity to expedite their on-ice hockey training while they continue to work out with their own individual program.  Players have access to strength and cardio facilities while attending camp.  Players will also have scheduled times where they participate in structured Speed, Agility, Quickness and Core sessions.  Although we allow athletes time to maintain their current Training Program, we will provide guidance upon players completing our Athletic Testing Combine.

Athletic Testing Combine – Each player will complete over 14 Athletic Specific Fitness Testing exercises.
