BHA to the Pros 

Matt Keith (Chicago Blackhawks, New York Islanders)
Matt was drafted by the Chicago Blackhawks in 2001 (Round 2, 59thoverall) while playing for the Spokane Chiefs of the Western Hockey League. After a stellar four-year WHL career that saw him post 154 points (76-68-154) in 203 games, Matt turned pro in 2003 and made his NHL debut with the Blackhawks on February 24th, 2004 against the Philadelphia Flyers. Matt scored his first career NHL goal against the Nashville Predators on March 1st, four days after recording his first assist. After four seasons in the Blackhawks organization, Matt joined the New York Islanders in 2007/08, appearing in three games.
 
Matt was the assistant captain and leading scorer for the American Hockey League’s Abbotsford Heat in 2010/11 before heading to Europe to continue his career. During the 2012/13 season, Matt picked up 28 points (7-21-28) in 37 games with Dornbirner EC in Austria.

BHA to the NCAA

 
Andrew Volkening (Air Force Academy)
After a three-year career at the Banff Hockey Academy, Andrew returned to America to play in the North American Hockey League. After receiving a scholarship to the Division I Air Force Academy, Andrew went on to play 10 games with the club in 2006-07. It was the next season that Andrew’s NCAA career took off as he went on to appear in 117 games over the next three seasons, posting a staggering 2.16 goals-against average and a .916 save-percentage. Andrew was nominated for the prestigious Hobey Baker Award, given annually to the MVP of Division I hockey, in 2010.
 
In the 2009 NCAA men’s ice hockey tournament, Andrew had a 43 save performance for his third straight shutout, knocking off the No. 1 seeded Michigan Wolverines in the first round of play. ESPN said about the game, “Michigan got Volkenized."

Mark Thomas (Great Britain)
Mark Thomas has been a regular member of the Great Britain National Team since 2005, appearing in seven tournaments (05, 06, 09, 11, 12 and 13) with the team.
  
Mark has appeared in six IIHF World Championships and has won bronze medal in 2009 and a silver medal in 2011. Altogether, Thomas has appeared in 30 World Championship games.
  
Mark was also a member of the 2013 Great Britain team that participated in the IIHF 2014 Olympic Qualifying Tournament.
