Premier Sports Leagues offers workshops for schools to help educate teachers and students on the rules and game tactics of emerging, lesser known global multi sports, such as the sport of FLOORBALL.

SCHOOL WORKSHOP

This is a one hour demonstration (during class hours or after hours if preferred) to showcase new sports to students as well as introduce the to the sport rules and nuances of these new sports to the Phys-ed and/or Athletic Directors should they decide to play afterwards
(Additional hours can be booked if desired)

GOALS:

• introduce the students & school staff to emerging global sports (i.e. floorball) either during their scheduled gym class time or for a one hour period over lunch or after school
• help students learn how to properly play these new sports by placing them in mini games, explaining/applying sport specific rules and keeping outcomes in line with school curriculum
• help students discover their desire to play these lesser known, emerging type sports beyond a gym class session
• work with school staff to plan future sports activities and programs (i.e. weekly after school/ lunch floorball program)

NOTE: Phys-ed and/or Athletic Directors might also want to check out our After School Program as a follow up to this School Workshop, for students who want to continue to learn to better play our sports,  Specialized sport equipment can also be purchased if the school decides to integrate the sports into their curriculum.
