2020 ECSL CHAMPIONS
Congratulations to the 2020 Minor Premiers and back to back CHAMPIONS 'Polyflor Raptors'

Raptors def Bombers 3-2
Sunday night the Raptors defeated the Bombers 3-2 to secure the 2020 Championship. The Raptors jumped out to a three nil lead before Josh Kleipas of the Bombers scored two short handed goals in the last half of the game, however it wouldn't be enough and the Raptors would win the series in two games. The Polyflor Raptors have defeated the Stealth Bombers 4-1 in game one of the 2020 finals series. (Box Score - Click Here)

SFB2: Bombers def North Stars 6-5 on aggregate
The Bombers have tied the North Stars 3-3 in Newcastle in Game two of the series. The North Stars mounted a comeback in the third period and the Bombers scores late in the game (2.42 remaining) to tie the series 5-5 on aggregate. Off to sudden death overtime and it was Jake Knott the Bombers leading goal scorer who won the series, scoring 33 seconds in. (Box Score Click Here)

SFA2: Raptors def Rebels 4-3 (13-4 on Agg)
The Polyflor Raptors have booked their ticket to the 2020 ECSL Grand Final. The defending champs defeated the Reach Rebels 4-3 in game two tonight but 13-4 on aggregate. The Raptors will face the number two seed Stealth Bombers in next weeks finals. (Box Score Click Here)

SFA1: Raptors def Rebels 9-1
In game one the defending champs and minor premiers Polyflor Raptors smashed the Reach Rebels 9-1 to take a commanding lead into game two tomorrow night.

SFB1: Bombers def North Stars 3-2
In game one the Stealth Bombers held onto a late push by the Newcastle Northstars defeating them 3-2. (Box Score)

Raptors def Rebels 8-2
Sunday night at Penrith the Raptors defeated the Rebels 8-2. The Rebels started poorly and the Raptors made them pay, scoring 5 unanswered goals in the first period. The Rebels tried to mount a comeback but the damage was done. Click here for box score:

Bombers def Sting 7-1
Saturday night at the Canterbury Ice Rink, the Stealth Bombers defeated the Sting 7-1. Bombers goalie Al Becken (pictured) shut the door stopping all 11 shots he faced before rookie Luka Dimopoulos stepped in for the final stanza. Whilst Luka let one goal in, he also assisted on the final goal. Click for box score:

North Stars def Rebels 8-1
Saturday night at Newcastle the North Stars defeated the Rebels 8-1. Both teams were depleted and the Rebels called up some seniors to join the ranks however the North Stars outshot the visitors 37 to 11 and the scoreline showed. Click for Box Score:

Saturday night the Bombers defeated the North Stars 7-6 in Newcastle

Sting 3-3 Raptors
First vs Last was on the cards at Canterbury Ice Rink on Saturday night. The Sting showed all the teams that on any given day they are still a threat. The Raptors scored with 2:59 remaining in the game to go up 3-2 however the Sting responded 28 seconds later to tie the game 3-3.

North Stars def Rebels 4-1
Saturday night at Canterbury Ice Rink the North Stars started strong scoring 3 goals in the first period. The Rebels were unable to find a way back, going down 4-1.

Bombers def Rebels 5-4
Saturday Night the Stealth Bombers defeated the Reach Rebels in a close game. The Rebels were up 2-1 at the end of P1 but the Bombers stormed back with 3 PP goals to take a 4-2 lead going into the end of P2. The Rebels fought back to tie the game but a late penalty shot awarded to the Bombers with 14 seconds remaining saw the Bombers take the points defeating the Rebels 5-4. Bombers #37 Jake Knott (Pictured) finished with 1G & 3A (4 points).

Saturday night at Canterbury the Raptors defeated a depleted North Stars lineup. The Raptors outshot the Stars 34-18.

Rebels def Sting 3-1
Saturday night at Canterbury, the Rebels defeated the Sting 3-1. Rebels goalie Dale Tilsted (Pictured) was also instrumental in his teams win, stopping 15 shots in the third period (28 in total) to help his side take the two points.

Saturday night at the Hunter Ice Skating Stadium the visiting Bombers defeated the North Stars 3-2. The Bombers outshot the home team 26-17. Bomber defence man James Douchkov (#81 - Pictured), was instrumental in his teams win, with 2 assists.

Raptors def Rebels 7-3
Saturday night at COIR the Raptors defeated the Rebels 7-3. The Rebels outshot the Raptors 30-29 but couldn't get any lucky bounces and were un able to capitalise on three breakaways. The Raptors got the lead early and never gave it up.

North Stars def Sting 8-6
Saturday night at COIR the North Stars scored 4 unanswered goals in the third period to come from behind and defeat the Sting 8-6.

Bombers def North Stars 7-2
Saturday night at Penrith the Bombers defeated the North Stars 7-2. #11 Estefano Bonfante (pictured) led the team with four assists.

Rebels def Sting 8-4
Saturday night at Penrith the Rebels defeated the Sting 8-4. Rebels rookie #88 Jamie Blazevic (pictured) helped his side with 3 points (2G + 1A).

North Stars & Sting play 2 of 3 periods.
Saturday night at Canterbury Olympic Ice Rink, the Sting & Newcastle Northstars managed to get two thirds of the game done. During the ice cut between the second & third period the zamboni ran into trouble and as a result left a hole in the ice. The game was ended with the North Stars leading the Sting 5-1 going into the third period.

Saturday night at COIR, the Raptors defeated the Rebels 4-1. The Raptors outshot the Rebels 31 to 14, Raptors #8 Thomas Moncrieff (pictured) did the damage with 2G + 1A. Noah Moncrieff also finished with 3 points (2G + 1A).

North Stars def Rebels 9-8
Saturday night in Newcastle the North Stars defeating the Rebels 9-8 in the dying seconds. Stars captain Josh Hansen (Pictured) scored the game winner with 00.05 remaining on the clock to secure his teams first win this season.

Sunday night in Newcastle the Raptors defeated the North Stars 7-4. Raptors #9 (pictured) had a 4 point night (3G, 1A).

Saturday night at Canterbury the Bombers bounced back from their loss the previous week to defeat the Sting 6-3. Bombers captain #17 Matt Musumeci also had a 4 point night (2G, 2A).

The Rebels took a early 3 nil lead and never really looked back, defeating the Stealth Bombers 5-2. Box Score

Saturday night at Canterbury the Rebels could not break Gabe Robledo (pictured). The Rebels piled on 33 shots and the Sting netminder shut the door to earn his team the shutout.

Bombers def North Stars 10-3
In the first game on Saturday night at Canterbury the Stealth Bombers defeated the North Stars 10-3. #37 Jake Knott (pictured) finished with 4 points (1G + 3A).

Sting & North Stars 5-5
The North Stars stole a point off the Sting with 25 seconds remaining in the game, however it was the Lukas Vaic (pictured) show with the Sting Captain earning a point on each goal, finishing the game with 3G + 2A.

Bombers def Raptors 6-1
In the second game of the evening the Bombers defeated the Raptors 6-1.

Rebels def North Stars 8-4
Saturday night at Canterbury Ice Rink the Rebels defeated the Newcastle North Stars 8-4.

Sting def Bombers 3-0
Sunday night at Penrith the Sting shut the door on the Bombers defeating them 3-0. Sting goalie Gabe Robledo (pictured) stopped all 28 shots earning himself the shutout.

Raptors def North Stars 6-0
After a 3 months COVID-19 delay, East Coast Super League hockey returned with the Raptors (debuting their new playing strip) making the trip up the M1 to take on the Newcastle Northstars. The Raptors taking the win.

Back to back games to kick off the start of the 2020 ECSL Season. In game two the Raptors defeated the Sting 7-3. However the game was concluded as a 5-0 win to the Raptors after the Sting played an illegal player.
