Raptors def Bombers 3-2
Sunday night the Raptors defeated the Bombers 3-2 to
secure the 2020 Championship. The Raptors jumped out to
a three nil lead before Josh Kleipas of the Bombers scored
two short handed goals in the last half of the game,
however it wouldn't be enough and the Raptors would win

SFB2: Bombers def North Stars 6-5 on aggregate
The Bombers have tied the North Stars 3-3 in Newcastle in
Game two of the series. The North Stars mounted a
comeback in the third period and the Bombers scores late
in the game (2.42 remaining) to tie the series 5-5 on
aggregate. Off to sudden death overtime and it was Jake
Knott the Bombers leading goal scorer who won the series,

SFA2: Raptors def Rebels 4-3 (13-4 on Agg)
The Polyflor Raptors have booked their ticket to the 2020
ECSL Grand Final. The defending champs defeated the Reach
Rebels 4-3 in game two tonight but 13-4 on aggregate.
The Raptors will face the number two seed Stealth Bombers in

In game one the defending champs and minor premiers
Polyflor Raptors smashed the Reach Rebels 9-1 to take a
commanding lead into game two tomorrow night.

In game one the Stealth Bombers held onto a late push by
the Newcastle Northstars defeating them 3-2. (Box Score)

Sunday night at Penrith the Raptors defeated the Rebels 8-2.
The Rebels started poorly and the Raptors made them pay,
scoring 5 unanswered goals in the first period. The Rebels
tried to mount a comeback but the damage was done. Click

Bombers def Sting 7-1
Saturday night at the Canterbury Ice Rink, the Stealth
Bombers defeated the Sting 7-1. Bombers goalie Al Becken
(pictured) shut the door stopping all 11 shots he faced
before rookie Luka Dimopoulos stepped in for the final
stanza. Whilst Luka let one goal in, he also assisted on the

Saturday night at Newcastle the North Stars defeated the
Rebels 8-1. Both teams were depleted and the Rebels called
up some seniors to join the ranks however the North Stars
outshot the visitors 37 to 11 and the scoreline showed. Click

Saturday night the Bombers defeated the North Stars 7-6 in
Newcastle

First vs Last was on the cards at Canterbury Ice Rink on
Saturday night. The Sting showed all the teams that on any
given day they are still a threat. The Raptors scored with 2:59
remaining in the game to go up 3-2 however the Sting
responded 28 seconds later to tie the game 3-3.

Saturday night at Canterbury Ice Rink the North Stars started
strong scoring 3 goals in the first period. The Rebels were
unable to find a way back, going down 4-1.

Rebels in a close game. The Rebels were up 2-1 at the end

the Bombers with 14 seconds remaining saw the Bombers

North Stars lineup. The Raptors outshot the Stars 34-18.

3-1. Rebels goalie Dale Tilsted (Pictured) was also
instrumental in his teams win, stopping 15 shots in the third
period (28 in total) to help his side take the two points.

Bombers defeated the North Stars 3-2. The Bombers outshot
the home team 26-17. Bomber defence man James Douchkov
(#81 - Pictured), was instrumental in his teams win, with 2
assists.

Saturday night at COIR the Raptors defeated the Rebels 7-3.
The Rebels outshot the Raptors 30-29 but couldn't get any
lucky bounces and were un able to capitalise on three
breakaways. The Raptors got the lead early and never gave it
up.

goals in the third period to come from behind and defeat the
Sting 8-6.

Newcastle Northstars managed to get two thirds of the
game done. During the ice cut between the second & third
period the zamboni ran into trouble and as a result left a
hole in the ice. The game was ended with the North Stars
leading the Sting 5-1 going into the third period.

Rebels 9-8 in the dying seconds. Stars captain Josh Hansen
(Pictured) scored the game winner with 00.05 remaining on
the clock to secure his teams first win this season.

hockey returned with the Raptors (debuting their new playing
strip) making the trip up the M1 to take on the Newcastle
Northstars.
